An ebony fretboard and pyramid bridge, rosewood binding, and vintage top toner are some of the features that set it apart from the standard OM-21. - 000-size body of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce with 1/4" scalloped braces, rosewood binding, black fiber & maple purfling, fine herringbone rosette and backstrip, Delmar tortoise pickguard, ebony pyramid bridge with bone saddle, ebony bridge pins with ivoroid dots, vintage toner. Low profile neck, ebony fretboard (1 3/4" bone nut, 25.4"scale), abalone square diamond inlays at 5th, 7th & 9th frets, old style logo decal on peghead. Case included.

The D-21 Special is a special guitar indeed. It is neck and neck with the HD-28V as the best dreadnought in stock here at The Music Store. This guitar features forward-shifted, scalloped 'X' bracing for an incredibly open and balanced tone, along with a pyramid style ebony bridge, solid Sitka Spruce top, solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and gloss finish. This guitar shares many features of the vintage series, including tinted toner on the top, open tuners, and comfortable soft 'V' neck. Martin Geib hardshell case included.
